We're one step closer to becoming Truist.
Beginning October 9, BB&T systems will start transitioning to Truist. You can still use your credit and debit cards and get money from SunTrust ATMs or others, but take care of any other banking needs before October 9. You won't be able to make payments, deposits, transfers, or withdrawals online, in the mobile, by phone, or at BB&T ATMs or branches. Get more info.
We expect everything to be available by Sunday, October 10.
We’re temporarily adjusting services available at our local branches.
Our branch service continues to evolve for the safety of our clients and teammates. As we begin to resume full service in more lobbies, in many branches our clients may no longer need appointments. However, if you want to receive service at a guaranteed time, please continue to schedule appointments. We do, however, continue to follow appropriate COVID-19 safety protocols, including proper social distancing and requiring all clients to wear masks while in the branch.
Some branches continue to offer only in-person visits by appointment, which can be scheduled online. Safe deposit access can be arranged by phone.
We’re providing teller services through drive-thru lanes, including Saturday hours—but they sometimes experience longer-than-usual wait times.
For transactions such as wire transfers, loan closings, and account openings, you can avoid the lines by scheduling an appointment.
Schedule an appointment
If you need to talk to a banker, you can book an appointment through our online scheduler.
Please note: Payment relief must be requested through our online portal or by phone. Payment relief for your credit card, personal loan, auto loan, mortgage, or home equity line of credit can’t be approved in our branches.
Stay home, save time—and skip the lines
Use our online and mobile banking options to conduct everyday transactions such as paying bills, transferring funds and depositing checks.
Staying safe in our branches
Client and teammate safety are our top priority. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep everyone healthy. Here’s how we’re making it happen:
