Latest updates

Was your Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan $50,000 or less? Then your forgiveness process is about to get easier. On October 8, 2020, the Small Business Administration approved a new, simplified PPP forgiveness application—and soon it will be available to you.

Branch updates

Our branch service continues to evolve for the safety of our clients and teammates. We’re providing teller services through drive-thru lanes, including Saturday hours. We appreciate your patience as some locations experience longer than average wait times. At our branches with temporarily closed lobbies, in-person visits can be scheduled online, and safe deposit box access can be arranged by phone.

When required by legal order, we’ll provide local health authorities with the names of teammates who test positive for COVID-19, as well as names and other information of those who may have come in close contact with them.

Schedule an appointment

If you need to talk to a banker, you can book an appointment through our online scheduler.

Please note: Payment relief must be requested through our online portal or by phone. Payment relief for your credit card, personal loan, auto loan, mortgage, or home equity line of credit can’t be approved in our branches.

For fast payment relief, submit a request form to defer payments on your credit card, personal loan, auto loan, home equity line of credit, or residential mortgage.

You can also request payment relief by phone.

Please be aware that due to the overwhelming need for help, hold times are much longer than normal.

Investing in our communities through Truist Cares

To meet the immediate and long-term needs of our communities, we've launched the Truist Cares initiative.

A pledge of $50 million in philanthropic support will provide aid for basic needs, medical supplies, and financial hardship across the nation.

Staying healthy

Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve implemented several preventative measures to protect the health and well-being of our clients and teammates, including:

  • Enhancing cleaning routines for our branches, offices and other locations with an increased focus on disinfecting surfaces including ATMs, teller line areas, elevator touchpads, door handles and other high-touch areas
  • Increasing the number of hand sanitizing stations available in branches and offices
  • Suspending international air business travel and limiting nonessential domestic business air travel for our teammates
  • Implementing social distancing (e.g. dividing teams to work from different locations) for some teammates in critical functions to create a safer workplace and ensure business continuity
  • Conducting group meetings by phone or other digital means

We encourage everyone to follow the guidance provided by the CDC to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases at home, in the workplace and while traveling. Please refer to the CDC websiteopens in a new tab for the most up-to-date information.
