It all started with one swing. A swing that would level the playing field. And inspire change in communities across the country.

And throughout his life, he always kept swinging.

Here’s to Hank, and his courage to always push for better.

Truist is proud to partner with the Braves, to honor his legacy of fostering equity and excellence, on and off the field.

Homers for Hank

The Homers for Hank program aims to honor Mr. Aaron’s commitment to education and supporting children in chasing their dreams. Donated funds will be used to build a program of impact—providing scholarships for students attending historically black colleges and universities, career development programs for HBCU students and alumni, and future support initiatives in honor of Hank Aaron’s legacy.

$755 for every Braves homer

Truist will donate $755 to the Henry Louis Aaron Fund for every home run hit by the Atlanta Braves, retroactive to the start of the 2021 Major League Baseball season through 2025. This includes any home run hit by a Braves player at-home or away, regular season or postseason. At a minimum, we’ll donate $1M to the Braves Foundation’s Henry Louis Aaron Fund over the next 5 years. Read full press release.

Representation matters

Hank Aaron worked to bring more diverse faces into the business of baseball. We’re keeping that vision alive with the Henry Aaron Fellowship.

The fellowship is a position in the Atlanta Braves’ front office—offering executive leadership experience in the day-to-day operations of a Major League Baseball Club. But more than that, it helps create and develop a more inclusive workplace.

Be part of the experience to honor Hank

Check out the new Community Corner presented by Truist located in The Battery Atlanta, right outside of Truist Park. We’re featuring “A Tribute to Hank Aaron,” an exhibit that celebrates the life and legacy of Hank Aaron on the field and in the community.

It’s free* and family-friendly. Come experience:

  • An interactive timeline of Hank Aaron’s life
  • Commemorative giveaways
  • Appearances by former Braves players
  • Memorabilia wall

According to CDC guidelines, masks will be required while inside the Community Corner until further notice.
