About me

Background

Ryan Thrower is a Wealth Advisor and Senior Vice President for Truist Wealth based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, he leads a team focused creating and implementing comprehensive wealth structuring and organization strategies for a select group of families, closely held businesses, and foundations.

Ryan has over 18 years of experience in the wealth management industry and previously served as a Director and Wealth Strategies Advisor at Bank of America’s Private Bank serving clients of Merrill Lynch. In this role, he collaborated with other advisors across the southeast to serve ultra-high networth families, non-profits and institutional clients. He served as the lead strategist for Bank of America’s captive insurance structure practice. He was a frequent speaker to regional and national audiences on topics including wealth transfer, business succession planning, and tax-efficient philanthropic giving.
