Background

Matthew Masten is a Financial Advisor and Managing Director for Truist Investment Services, Inc., he firmly believes in the importance of having a sound financial plan. For more than 25 years, Matt has helped clients manage their financial needs by customizing investment strategies appropriate to their risk tolerance and goals. Using a team approach he brings together specialists in Investment management, financial planning, credit solutions, insurance, estate planning, and business succession. 

Matt began his investment career in 1998 as an advisor with Merrill Lynch after graduating from Wofford College. He earned his a Certified Financial Planner™ certification in 2005. Matt is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In his spare time he enjoys snow skiing, cooking, playing with the family dogs and traveling with his wife, Meredith, and their daughters, Emily and Molly.
