About me

Background

As the National Director for Truist Legal Specialty Group, Julian Collier oversees a team of professional advisors, throughout the Bank’s footprint, who are dedicated to providing comprehensive financial advice and private banking solutions to lawyers and law firms. Julian joined SunTrust now Truist in 2009 when he worked as a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in Nashville, TN.  In 2013, he joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey’s Corporate Banking Group, working with privately held businesses in the Southeast, advising on debt and equity capital raising, cash flow management, financial risk management, plus mergers and acquisitions. Prior to SunTrust, Julian began his career with National City Bank in Louisville, KY, followed by six years with BB&T in Virginia where he was a Commercial Banker and Market President.

Julian holds a BA from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA from the University of Georgia.  He has been active with United Way, and the American Red Cross.  He and his wife, Jennifer and their two sons live in Great Falls, Virginia.
