Background

As a Wealth Strategist, Tim Ritter is responsible for working with clients at every phase of life to help them understand, develop, and ultimately address their financial goals.  He specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high-net-worth families, assisting in growing, preserving, and transitioning wealth. He and his team work individually with clients and their advisers to create a customized strategy, utilizing a broad network of capabilities and reach. Tim offers clients more than 20 years of financial planning and wealth management experience. Prior to joining Truist, Tim served as a wealth manager for Creative Planning.  

Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Coastal Carolina University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Carolina.  Additionally, Tim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner.

Personal Interests

Tim lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He enjoys woodworking, fitness activities, and spending time with his wife (Elisa) and three kids (Landon, Parker, and Ellie Grace).  In his free-time, you will find Tim at a soccer complex, basketball court, or a gymnastics studio watching his kids compete.
