Based in Palm Beach, Florida, The Longwater-Haffey Group of Truist Investment Services, Inc. was established when Lance Longwater and Ryan Haffey joined Truist. As a team, they are motivated by their shared vision that clients are better served when working with an advisor who takes an active role in the end-to-end wealth management process. While the details and intricacies of each plan varies, clients are better served by having one. Once we understand what is important and how it relates to a client’s wealth, we create a plan that prepares for the expected and unexpected events in life that could impact wealth. The thoughtful conversations we pursue throughout the planning process helps us identify areas needing attention. Once a plan is in place, meetings are held throughout the year to revisit our recommendations. Since the only thing constant in life is change, we communicate regularly to confirm the plans and the solutions in place are still appropriate over time.

Investing:

Though there are other elements of wealth management, we specialize in investment advice. Our first step is developing an understanding of your unique needs and willingness to take on the risks associated with investing. We then design an investment strategy that reflects your reason for investing and who you are as an investor. Recognizing strategic (long-term) asset allocation is the primary factor in portfolio behavior and planning outcomes, and tactical (short/intermediate term) decisions can be impactful to risk and return, we apply both to the ongoing investment management process. We select investments within the strategic framework and tactical positioning based on several factors: the extent to which funds (passive or active) and/or individual securities will be used based on the asset class being targeted, the amount being invested, and your preferences.

We leverage internal and external research that consists of fundamental and technical analysis aiding the security selection process with entry and exit points. Truist’s technology allows us insight to investment exposure and regular reviews and communication help address any areas of concern.
