Scott Walker is a Wealth Advisor in the New York City office of Truist Wealth. Scott works with clients in the New York area, including wealthy families, entrepreneurs, real estate developers, private equity and hedge partners whose wealth has a complex set of objectives across their balance sheet. He draws from the depth of his experience to offer a highly-personalized approach and customized strategies.
Scott understands that every client tells a unique story, and he listens carefully to identify their goals and the aspirations they have for themselves and their legacy. He navigates the full breadth of resources at the firm to coordinate a team of specialists from multiple disciplines—asset management, trust, planning, banking and credit platforms. He taps a vast array of specialists and resources along with market research to inform his recommendations. He is experienced in building strong relationships and considers integrity and transparency paramount in serving clients’ best interests.
Over a two-decade career, Scott has gained considerable insight into the sophisticated requirements of high-net-worth clients. His strengths include investment management, wealth guidance and business development. Before joining Truist Wealth, he spent much of his professional career with City National Bank and the combined organization of Wachovia Wealth Management and Wells Fargo Private Bank. Most recently he was with JP Morgan Private Bank.
Scott attended Towson University, where he earned a B.S. in Mass Communications. He was recruited to join Morgan Stanley’s Financial Advisor Investment Management training program upon completing school.

Personal Interests
Raised to give back to the community, Scott has been on the boards of several not-for-profits, including Long Island Epilepsy, Long Island Alzheimer’s and Riverhead Marine Foundation. Currently, he supports an annual scholarship fundraiser for local deserving high school students to honor two local heroes.
Scott grew up on Long Island and continues to live there with his wife and two daughters. They spend most of their time between their homes on the South Shore of Long Island and the North Fork boating, fishing, enjoying family and at the beach.
