Background

Sam Moini is a Senior Wealth Advisor for Truist Bank and the Managing Director for Orange County offering clients more than 35 years of banking and wealth management experience. Sam supports families’ financial well-being by aligning their resources and access to capital to what is really important to them. He manages this by bringing together the experience of Truist Wealth’s planning, investment management and customized financing solutions to his clients. Sam has been a go to advisor as he has managed large relationships in Orange County over the past 18 years. He previously has held key roles with Wells Fargo Private Bank, Citibank Private Bank in London, Bank of America, and Sanwa Bank of California (now Bank of the West).

Personal Interests

Sam serves as a member of the Corporate Cabinet at Orange County United Way.  In this capacity he supports the Corporate Engagement staff in reaching United Way’s Community Impact fundraising goals. Sam also volunteers on the Orange County United Way Mentorship Program, where he helps guide seniors, boost confidence, provide professional advice and perspectives and help with critical questions about colleges and careers.

Sam also serves on the Advisory Board at the University of California, Riverside Extension for the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times program.  As a board member, he supports the faculty and program managers to deliver relevant offerings and strengthen the fundamental mission of the program.

Sam’s interests include skiing, tennis, hiking, reading and traveling.
