Background
After a successful first career in banking and wealth management, I chose financial advisory as my second act because it represents the ideal intersection of my experience, my passion for markets, and—most meaningful of all—my desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. At Truist Wealth’s Private Client Group, I help clients build and protect wealth not as an end in itself, but as a tool for achieving their most important goals, including family legacy, financial independence, business expansion, and purposeful giving. My mission is to guide individuals and families in building, preserving, and transferring wealth in ways that reflect their values and vision of a fulfilling life.
Clients who work with me can expect an engaged, inquisitive advisor who listens first and speaks second. Every recommendation begins with a thoughtful discovery process that explores goals, risk tolerance, cash flow needs, timelines, and family dynamics. My guidance is research-driven, candid, and focused on long-term progress—at times celebratory, at times challenging, but always rooted in what best supports each client’s life path. I tailor the cadence of every relationship to ensure communication feels meaningful, supportive, and never intrusive.
My perspective is shaped by a range of high impact roles: five years as a commercial banker serving business owners; a decade as an executive at BB&T; meaningful time as a full-time stay-at-home father; and several years as a practicing financial advisor. These experiences offer insight into both the technical and human dimensions of my financial decision making.

Personal Interests
Beyond the office, I’m proud to serve as Cubmaster for Pack 799—one of Virginia’s largest Scouting units—and remain active in our community. I recharge by spending time with my wife, Liz, and our two boys, as well as playing chess, making music, and traveling. These pursuits keep me grounded and reinforce why thoughtful financial planning matters: it helps people to build lives filled with purpose, connection, and possibility.
