Background

 As a Senior Wealth Advisor with Truist Bank, Renee Johnson leverages over 20 years of wealth management experience in her work with highly successful individuals and families. Her proactive, team-centric approach integrates specialists in investments, financial planning, credit, and estate strategies to guide entrepreneurs and other business owners through every stage of the business lifecycle. 

Renee brings an approach of guiding clients through the complex financial and personal aspects not only of business ownership, but also of managing multi-generational wealth and stewarding family capital. 

Renee prides herself on being her clients’ first point of contact and works alongside their professional advisors to construct a comprehensive wealth plan for generations to come. Always responsive and professional, she holds herself to a high standard and considers nothing more important than guiding her clients in achieving their goals.

Before joining Truist, Renee was part of the Southeast Wealth Team at Wells Fargo Private Bank and JPMorgan, catering to the planning needs of high-net-worth families. She also served as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and Business Initiatives Manager at Bank of America. Earlier in her career, Renee gained exposure to Wall Street at a commodities hedge fund, advising a select clientele. 

Renee earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she was on the varsity teams for swimming, diving and volleyball, and was named an All-Scholastic NCAA athlete. She holds an M.B.A. from Lynn University.

Personal Interests

A tremendous supporter of the arts, literacy, and historical preservation, Renee is an advisory board member of the NSU Art Museum, Broward Community Foundation, and WLRN. She has volunteered for the Literacy Coalition, Habitat for Humanity, Junior League of Boca Raton, SIFMA, and “Teach Children to Save Day” in Palm Beach and Broward counties. 

Renee and her husband have three adult children and reside in Fort Lauderdale with their boxer, Penny. In her free time, she is an avid swimmer and sports enthusiast.
