Background
Paul Sabataitis is a Vice President and Financial Consultant with Truist Investment Services, Inc. He joined Truist in March of 2024 and offers his clients more than 25 years of equity research, financial planning and investment management experience. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Paul spent the first ten years of his career as an equity research analyst and associate portfolio manager for Gradison McDonald Asset Management, a division of Key Bank. When Gradison McDonald was sold to UBS in 2007, he stayed there for another three years. In 2011, Paul moved over to higher education where he would spend a combined ten years specializing in financial planning and endowment accounting & management for Case Western Reserve University and Oberlin College.
Paul has held leadership roles for several local boards and non-profits. He is a past Treasurer and member of the executive committee for RTB Aviation, LLC. He also served on the board of trustees for the Western Reserve Fire Museum and the Cleveland Rowing Foundation. In 2017, he served a two-year term as Secretary for the Cleveland monument committee of the Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Economics from John Carroll University and holds a Master of Arts in Financial Integrity from Case Western Reserve University.
Paul resides in Avon Lake, Ohio on the west side of Cleveland. A licensed pilot, he enjoys flying, sailing and fishing with his two daughters. Since 2016, Paul has also worked part-time as a Firefighter for the Village of Gates Mills, a suburb on the east side of Cleveland. A passionate Veterans’ advocate, Paul is a recipient of the US Navy Meritorious Public Service Award, the third-highest Navy award presented to civilians.
