Mike is a Board Member of the Georgia Council on Economic Education, serves on the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Legacy Advisor Leadership Council, is an Advisory Board Member of the Trust Education Foundation, a past President and current member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council, and a member of both the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia.

When not volunteering Mike enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with his family including watching his son and daughter participate in various sports.
