An excellent communicator and connector, Karen is an active member of the community serving on boards at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts and The Florida Orchestra, as well as the Chair of the Development Council for Bay Area Legal Services and as a Non-attorney Committee "A" member of the Florida Bar's Thirteenth Circuit Unlicensed Practice of Law.
Karen is also an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers.
Karen resides in South Tampa (Ballast Point) with her husband, Matthew and has two adult children, Mitchell and Morgan.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her children, watching and attending sporting events and musical performances, as well as playing tennis, running and taking barre classes.
