Background

Haelie Guiney is a Financial Advisor with Truist Investment Service, Inc., with over 20 years of experience, helping her clients make some of the most important financial decisions. Her experience with investments began long before her professional career: She began personally investing in 1985 while working at her first full-time job as a process engineer and simultaneously pursuing an MBA. She believes there is no greater experience than working with your own money, whether it is on your own or with professional guidance.

“Slow and steady” is the mantra of her Wealth Management Team. In the classic fable, it is the Tortoise, not the flashy Hare that eventually wins the race. Haelie and her team work with their clients to create a roadmap, including a financial plan and investment strategies for the long haul. Their strategies are developed based on the thorough understanding of their clients’ concerns, goals, and aspirations. They help clients tweak the roadmap as situations change, while continuing to develop the long-term relationship.

Personal Interests

As an empty nester, Haelie now enjoys organic gardening, leisure running, hiking, skiing, yoga and traveling with her husband, Bob. She checked off a few bucket list items by completing the Marine Corp

Marathon in 2018 and the Bermuda Triangle in 2019 as well as hiking the Grand Canyon, Rim to Rim. She is also involved with church activities and reads regularly at masses.

Haelie is passionate about teaching good financial habits to her two young adult children as well as her clients. She helps them understand and practice the principles of investing, saving for retirement and non-retirement, and avoiding high-interest debt.
