My name is Devon Killian. And I am a medical wealth advisor within our medical specialty group. I am located in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is also the headquarter city for Truist. My clients reside mostly in the Charlotte metro region, Western North Carolina, and South Carolina. I have a fond memory of a personal gift that fuels my purpose each day. It reminds me how even a small seed in the garden of planning can grow into something very powerful. Several years ago, my dad handed me a piece of paper, folded neatly, with my name on the outside. Inside was a letter written to me in the font of a typewriter. My grandparents had purchased a savings bond from a local county hospital, and earmarked it for my higher education. I bet you all can guess the time frame by the almost 8% rate. The sentence that resonated most with me was, all we can ask of you in return is learn as much as possible, and strive always to help someone else. And I get to honor their wishes by doing my job as an advisor, which is really the best job ever. As a wealth advisor, I learn my client's goals, make plans for the achievement, and then celebrate their milestones. My approach is custom and holistic. It really is all about you. We assemble a team of subject matter experts and work in tandem to set your plans in motion. Our specialties include financial planning, investment advisory, risk management, strategic credit, and estate planning. In medical specialty, we are unique in that we only serve physicians. Our deep medical industry experience is what makes our practice unique. When I'm not with clients, I enjoy time at the gym, being outdoors, and reading a good mystery novel. And I'm lucky to live and work in the Carolinas, so I enjoy their beautiful beaches every chance I get. I will close in saying to my current clients, thank you.
