About Our Process

Hi. [MUSIC PLAYING] My name is Ashley Propst. I'm a wealth advisor in Nashville, Tennessee. I specialize in advising business owners and multigenerational families. My approach stems from my father's advice to take care of your clients, take care of your teammates, don't jeopardize your integrity, and everything will work out for the best. Both he and my mother were raised by fathers who owned their own businesses. My mother had concerns that my father really didn't know his daughters, so she arranged for me to work for him during the summers while I was in high school. While my friends were sunning by the pool, I was in steel-toed boots and a hard hat flagging traffic on the side of the road. I quickly learned what a utilities contractor was and the true value of a dollar. I have vivid memories of my first paycheck being much less than what I'd calculated in my head. That's when I learned about taxes. Being the only female on the job site and the daughter of the owner gave me an interesting perspective that continues to shape my approach with clients and teammates today. I'm always focused on the puzzle, not just on the pieces, and I always put myself in my clients' shoes and look at things from their perspective to gain clarity and insight into their unique situation. It's my distinct privilege and pleasure to work with you at Truist Wealth, and I sincerely appreciate the confidence and trust that you place in me and my team.
