Managing Director – Equity Strategies

As managing director of equity strategies for Truist Advisory Services, Inc., Scott leads the Investment Advisory team responsible for establishing Truist’s equity strategy and outlook. In this role, Scott serves as lead portfolio manager, and his team manages two large cap equity strategies, Core Equity Income (CEI), and Strategic Core Equity (SCE), as well as portfolio commentaries and Reasons To Own company summaries and rationale. Scott and his team also co-author Truist’s Sector Strategy and other topical and stock-specific commentaries. Additionally, Scott provides client advisory services addressing client requests for ad hoc stock and sector reviews and analysis.

Experience

Since 2011, Scott has been an important contributor to the success of the SCE and CEI portfolios. He has also authored stock-specific and industry commentaries. His more-than-28 years of financial services experience includes roles at RidgeWorth Capital Management, a division of SunTrust, where he served as midcap core portfolio manager and worked with the firm’s short-term fixed income group. Scott is based in Atlanta.
