Head of IAG Client & Advisor Engagement

Sabrina Bowens-Richard is head of our Investment Advisory Group's client engagement team for Truist Advisory Services, Inc. In her role, she leads the strategy, development, and execution in delivering Truist Wealth's investment expertise to meet the ongoing needs of our clients. Her team supports refining and disseminating our investment content to enhance user experiences and drive content strategy and engagement. In addition, she has led the effort in fostering inclusive investment strategies on Truist Wealth’s platform. Moreover, she has cultivated differentiated thought leadership to support client preferences in implementing inclusive strategies in their portfolios. Prior to this role, Sabrina spent 11 years as an integral member of the Investment Advisory team responsible for establishing Truist’s investment strategy and outlook. 

Experience

Sabrina has nearly thirty years of investment experience in asset allocation strategies, portfolio management, investment research, market strategy, and new business development. Sabrina has also enhanced research processes for boutique investment firms. Prior to joining Truist’s Investment Advisory Group, Sabrina was a senior asset allocation strategist with Truist’s predecessor SunTrust’s institutional investment solutions line of business and was a member of the group’s investment committee. 

Sabrina’s prior positions include asset allocation specialist with RidgeWorth Capital Management, vice president and portfolio manager for Decatur Capital Management, and research analyst at Peachtree Asset Management. 

Sabrina also worked in the Latin American strategy research and international money management divisions at Smith Barney in New York City.
