Background

Vince Johnson has been a Financial Advisor with Truist Investment Services, Inc., Private Client Group since 2001. He and Kathy White (Brokerage Senior Client Service Officer) offer over 60 years of combined financial services experience with a focus on asset management, retirement, and legacy planning. Vince also constructs portfolios utilizing equities, fixed income, CEFs, ETFs, MLPs, REITs, and private equity for his clients. A team approach brings together multiple specialists and bank teammates to assist clients along their entire financial journey. Vince has also earned the professional designation of Preferred Portfolio Manager (PPM).

Vince is a Board member of the coordinating committee for the REACH Program at the Western Piedmont Council of Governments that provides one-on-one guidance to graduates of the Regional Housing Authority’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program. He has also been a Hickory Foundation YMCA Volunteer of the Year and a member of the YMCA Chairman’s Roundtable. Vince has also held Board roles with the American Red Cross, the Hickory Foundation YMCA, and served as an adult leader with St. Luke’s Scouting America Troop 250.

Vince has 3 sons (all Eagle Scouts) and resides in Hickory, NC, with his wife, Liz.
