About Our Process

Hello. I'm Trey Smith, the financial advisor with Truist Investment Services Inc based in Nashville, Tennessee. My practice all starts with you the client, what do you want? What do you need? What do you want to achieve? Is there something you're striving for? A concern for someone you love? Or possibly something keeping you up at night? Only once I understand what is most important to you can my team and I work on your behalf. The Smiths group niche is working with individuals, families, and institutions and then providing solutions and resources to help address their often complex issues. This is achieved by asking the questions that are most appropriate to your situation and then creating custom solutions to help solve your needs. Is it that point that my goal as an advisor in partnership with our team is to help you understand where you are, where you want to go. And how to get there. This approach stems from stories I heard growing up of both what went wrong and occasionally right my own family's previous generation. It is that personal history that colors how we approach our clients. And while our belief that although investing is extraordinarily important when given the opportunity, we also need to create a plan and utilize the full resources we have available, including banking, lending, and other solutions to help you achieve your goals. Although there are many ways we work with our clients, we know we've added value when I hear a client say, I never thought of that or I can't wait to tell so-and-so this, or you give me confidence to pursue my goals. Working with wonderful clients, great team members, and a supportive institution, like Truist has been a tremendous opportunity for me. And I want to thank you for your time and consideration. If we can be of service, we'd love to help.
