Who we are

Sam Mintz
I lead the business acquisition and financial planning aspects of our team, helping clients strategize and execute their goals, from retirement planning to selling a business. I build new and maintain existing relationships through communication, ensuring that I’m keeping clients informed about the marketplace while staying abreast of life or goal changes that could impact their financial picture. My estate and family planning focus is on working and strategizing with our clients’ team of professionals, including estate attorneys, bankers, and CPAs.

Steve Gow
I construct and manage portfolios, performing due diligence on all investment choices and building customized portfolios based upon our clients’ needs. In addition to reviewing outside investment managers and tracking their performance versus their peers, while adhering to our clients’ objectives, I also support the team’s asset allocation and security processes, and monitor and adjust asset classes and sectors, as needed. 

Bernie Murff
I’m focused on our clients’ financial success and wellbeing, always listening to and learning what's important to them. I use that knowledge to develop custom solutions: evaluating life and long-term care insurance options, lending solutions, Medicare, Social Security, and any other services that may benefit the client. I not only provide financial plans that are focused on their needs, and on track and secure, I also engage with them through educational opportunities and appreciation events.

Cheryl Franz and Donna Minkeson-Shaw
We oversee the scheduling of portfolio reviews, follow up on paperwork requests, assist with online and website support, and securely provide account information by phone or email. From a client service perspective, we welcome and on board new clients and respond to their daily service needs, including requests for wire transfers and checks, tax documents, and account updates such as change of address, email, or phone number.

Once the client on-boarding process is complete and the plan is in place, we hold regularly scheduled account reviews, both in person and over the phone. Each team member knows the client’s story and is ready to assist with any questions. Although we each have specialty areas, there’s always someone here to help them.
