Background

Stephen Kreter is a member of the Kreter Group of Truist Investment Services, Inc., which manages the wealth of a select number of high- and ultra-high-net-worth families nationwide. He and his team are passionate about helping their clients—many of whom are approaching retirement age and need to move from the wealth accumulation to the distribution phase—make the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Stephen works with his clients to help them fully understand where their wealth stands today, clarify their goals, and create a comprehensive, regularly monitored wealth management strategy and financial plan that serve as a roadmap to the future, all while seeking to minimize risk exposure. He’s supported by a team of Truist Wealth specialists, who help complement his strategies with customized banking, risk management, trust, and estate planning solutions.

Stephen grew up in the Washington area, attending Gonzaga High School, and graduated from Catholic University with a degree in finance. He resides in Bethesda with his wife, Tanya, two daughters, Regan and Kiley, and chocolate lab, Bodi, and enjoys traveling, working out, and playing golf.
