About me

Background

Stephen M. Yarbrough is a senior vice president and head of Truist’s institutional investment management businesses, responsible for leading Truist’s Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice and retirement and institutional services business. His team serves a wide range of institutions, including foundations, public charities, healthcare organizations, associations, and corporations. 

Over his 30-year career, he’s held a variety of leadership and strategy roles. In each, he’s maintained a consistent theme: fostering cultures focused on delivering experiences that meet clients’ unique needs, resulting in both long-lasting relationships and high teammate engagement. The Foundation and Endowment Specialty Practice was named “One of the Best Places to Work” by Pensions and Investments magazine.
