With more than 26 years of experience across multiple investment and financial services industries, Mark is responsible for the introduction, implementation, and management of Truist Wealth GenSpring's investment process into client portfolios. His responsibilities include investment policy formation, asset allocation and portfolio management, investment manager selection in traditional and alternative investments, and client portfolio performance reviews.
During his time at Truist Wealth, Mark has served as an advisory member of the firm’s trading software systems, co-chair of the Portfolio Rebalancing and Trading Group, and Talent Development Group. Currently he serves on the firm’s Portfolio Construction Group, which focuses on optimizing investment manager allocations and combinations in coordination with the firm’s strategic and tactical guidance in order to address client's goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Truist Wealth, Mark was a portfolio manager for Holcombe Financial Group, where he managed ultra-high-net-worth individuals and corporate profit-sharing plans. Prior to that, Mark was a relationship manager at Schwab Institutional, whereby he covered over 165 independent registered investment advisory firms totaling $3.6 billion in assets in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. In addition, Mark was an institutional bond trader at J.P. Turner & Company, LLC, a broker-dealer in Atlanta, Georgia.
