Background

Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Montgomery County, MD over 25 years ago after graduating from Rutgers University. I began my financial advice and planning career with Ameriprise Financial in 2013 after completing an MBA from the Carey Business School at The Johns Hopkins University. Since joining SunTrust in 2015 (now Truist), I’ve focused on helping clients define and achieve their life goals through personalized financial planning, prudent investment management, and purpose-driven strategies that align wealth with what matters most to them.

Along with my wife and daughter, I live in Poolesville, MD. We enjoy the Agricultural Reserve, Montgomery County, and Washington, DC for all they offer — scenic beauty, community spirit, and limitless activities.

In the summer months, you'll find me enjoying the salt life along North Carolina’s coastline with family and friends. Once fall arrives, watching college football on Saturdays and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens on Sundays are weekly traditions. I’ve also been known to catch a game or two of our hometown Washington Nationals.

In my spare time, I stay active in the community and volunteer with local organizations, including the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Poolesville Swim Team.

Jeffrey McCloskey is a member of the Financial Planning Association (National Capital Area) and serves on the Board of Directors (Treasurer) for the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
