Background

Diego Velez is an Investment Manager at Truist Wealth, serving individuals, families, and not-for-profit organizations throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area. He specializes in developing asset allocation strategies designed to help clients achieve their long-term investment objectives while managing multiple facets of risk. With over 15 years of experience in asset management, Diego’s expertise spans portfolio management, equity research, and investment performance analysis.

Prior to joining Truist Wealth, Diego spent eight years as an Investment Strategist at Wells Fargo Private Bank in Washington, D.C., and four years as an Investment Analyst at Cambridge Associates, LLC in Arlington, VA.

Diego is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society – Washington, D.C.
