Background

David Thomas is an Investment Manager with Truist Bank, offering clients more than 25 years of financial services, retirement planning, and investment management experience. In this role, he provides proactive, personalized investment management and client service and develop disciplined, risk adjusted asset management solutions tailored to meet individual client objectives. Prior to his current role, he was a Financial Planner for Ameriprise Financial. Earlier in his career, he worked for 6 years for a New York City based Hedge Fund serving in a number of roles from trading to research.

Personal Interests

David earned a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Baltimore. He serves as a board member on the Howard Community College’s educational foundation board and for Respite Retreats, a local non-profit providing retreats of respite to cancer patients and their caregivers. Additionally, he's a member of the Columbia-Patuxent Rotary Club and regularly participate in service projects throughout the community.
