In this role, David is actively involved in aiding families in having important discussions related to transitioning their family enterprise over multiple generations.
David has over 35 years of experience advising and strategizing with ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices. Prior to joining Truist Wealth in 2006, David worked in Trust and Estate Administration for a number of trust companies including Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank Trust and U.S. Trust. Over time, he transitioned to focusing on assisting families with creating a professional infrastructure that provides a framework for governing their family enterprise and preparing future generations for the roles and responsibilities of living a life with wealth. David now uses his extensive experience to advise families on a myriad of topics including family governance, family dynamics, next generation education and family office implementation. David frequently speaks to and writes regularly for professional and client groups on these topics.
