About me

Background

Cari Campbell is a client manager with the foundations and endowments specialty practice at Truist, offering more than 20 years of experience within the financial services industry and 12 years working exclusively with nonprofit organizations. As a client manager, she’s responsible for the practice’s client service delivery, acting as a key strategic advisor to new and existing nonprofit relationships and providing clients with deep nonprofit insight and experience, in addition to overseeing account administration.

The foundations and endowments specialty practice delivers comprehensive investment advisory, administration, planned giving, custody, trust, and fiduciary services to nonprofit organizations, administering assets for foundations, hospitals, educational institutions, cultural organizations, human service agencies, associations, municipalities, and other nonprofits.

Cari has held various roles with Truist in its corporate marketing department and the SunTrust Foundation. She also gained experience on Capitol Hill and in marketing and foundation roles with Northern Trust, as the executive director of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, and as the director of development for the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation.

Personal Interests

Cari earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication, with minors in business and journalism, from Indiana University. She’s a graduate of Leadership Sarasota and the Protocol School of Washington. She has served on multiple nonprofit boards and volunteered with many civic and community service organizations. In addition, she’s a Southeastern Council of Foundations Hull Fellow, a member of the Association for Corporate Citizenship Professionals, and a member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council.
