Background

Melina North is a Wealth Advisor Associate with Truist Bank in South Florida. She is part of a partnership with two Senior Wealth Advisors, Samantha Vassallo and Philip Verde, offering solutions and strategies in complex financial planning, investment, lending, tax*, trust, and estate needs. Part of their comprehensive practice involves working closely with next generation education and family governance needs. This partnership offers combined experience of over 50 years in the industry and fosters a customized team-based approach for each client to assess, understand, and better address their personal, family, business, and philanthropic goals.

Melina puts a high priority on striving for the best experience possible for each client. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their families to gain a deep understanding of the needs and complexities within each family, as well as to help clients feel the utmost comfort with the team. Prior to her role as a Wealth Advisor Associate, Melina graduated from the competitive Truist Wealth Analyst Program in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planner designation.

Personal Interests

Melina was born and raised in New Jersey, but has resided in South Carolina, Georgia, and now South Florida. As a member of the community, she believes it to be essential to get involved and give back. She is a college mentor for the Eda and Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation and a volunteer for Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Melina loves spending time with her rescue dog and fiancé, cheering on the USC Gamecocks and Carolina Hurricanes, and traveling internationally whenever she can.
