About Our Process

My name is Clarence Taylor Jr, and I am a Financial Advisor and Vice President with Truist Investment Services Private Client Group. I specialize in goals-based investing and retirement planning. I hold two professional designations: a Chartered Retirement planning Counselor (CRPC) and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation. Although my clients are in various locations around the US, I reside in Reston, Virginia in the Greater Washington Region and have lived in the region for over 20 years. I became a Financial Advisor because it was apparent to me early on in life that I liked to solve problems and that money does not come with instructions. Growing up I have personally experienced interactions with disparity and prosperity alike within communities and my family. The ability to help someone in need and not just give a monetary gift–but the gift of financial knowledge–is rewarding all around. My team, The Price-Taylor Group, along with my Truist Wealth partners, are experienced advisors and planners. As part of our investment process, we use internal and external research to help navigate through the ups and downs of economic cycles. Our asset allocation strategies are built with diversified investment models that consider the clients risk, timeframe and liquidity needs. The Truist investment platform allows our team to employ an open architecture to investing in various assets that will help meet their planning objectives. My investment in the community is ongoing and I’m proud to currently serve on the board of directors of The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. I’m also an annual participant and sponsor for the George Mason University Diversity Scholarship program. Through these philanthropic endeavors, I try to bring opportunities to young people in underserved and minority communities who can become impactful participants in our society. The Price-Taylor Group is dedicated to servicing our clients by focusing on their personal aspirations as well as their families.
