Medicare open enrollment is here. From October 15th through December 7th, you have an important opportunity to review your current coverage and make changes for the year ahead.

During this time, you can switch your medical plan, update your prescription drug coverage, or explore new options that better fit your needs. Now, if you're not already enrolled in Medicare, this isn't the time to sign up. Unless your initial enrollment period or a special enrollment period falls within these dates. .

So how can you prepare? Start by reviewing your annual notice of change. It arrives in September and is also available online. This notice highlights updates to your Medicare Advantage or Part D drug plan, including changes to providers, cost and covered medications.

Taking just a few minutes to help review these changes can help you decide whether to keep your current plan or make a switch. Remember, open enrollment ends December 7th. So don't wait. Talk to your Medicare advisor or visit medicare.gov today to make sure your coverage is right for you in the year ahead.

And if you have questions or want guidance tailored to your goals, reach out to your Truist Advisor. We're here to help you feel confident and prepared for what's next.
