Background

Madison Wootton is a Senior Managing Director and Financial Advisor with over 25 years of experience, working to help clients achieve their financial goals. In 1998, he received the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.

Wootton began his investment career in 1995 in the trust department of the Union Bank of California, and later worked as vice president and fixed income portfolio manager at Robertson Stephens, a technology- focused investment bank in San Francisco.

Wootton is a graduate of the University of Virginia and active in his community. He is also a board member of Virginia Home for Boys and Girls foundation and the Richmond Sponsoring Committee of FOCUS.

He formerly served the Virginia Commonwealth University Foundation as a trustee, as well as chairman of the investment committee and chairman of the grant committee. When not at work, Wootton enjoys reading, sporting clays, running, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, John, Lucy, and Henry.
