Ethan Van Eck is a Regional Managing Director for Truist Bank in South Florida, offering over 10 years of experience in personal wealth management and team leadership. His primary responsibilities include leading a team of Wealth Advisors, integrating Truist teammates to serve our clients as one team, and recruiting top tier talent to join Truist Wealth.
Ethan worked in his family’s small business for 15 years before transitioning into financial services. His time in small business gave him a clear perspective on the challenges business owners and family members face. It also created a firm belief in the importance of comprehensive and objective financial planning for families and future generations.
After working with his family’s business, Ethan graduated from the BB&T (now Truist) Leadership Development Program in 2009. He then served for 4 years as a Wealth Advisor in North Carolina, providing advice and planning to affluent small business owners and retirees. Ethan transitioned into a leadership role in Annapolis Maryland before relocating to South Florida in 2014 to serve in his current role.

Personal Interests
Ethan is a husband of 20 years and a father of four children. He enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of all that South Florida has to offer.
As a Parkland resident, he has been focused on his local community since the tragic event that occurred in 2018. He coaches youth basketball, sponsors awareness and fundraising events focusing on school safety, and has worked with impacted families. He is actively involved in his church, volunteers in community service projects, and has led various youth programs.
As a business leader in South Florida, Ethan coordinates efforts to partner with and support various charities and community groups across the region. For over ten years, Ethan has participated in Truist’s Lighthouse Project to serve communities, and he was the Chair of the Wealth Division Lighthouse Project Committee in 2019.
