Background

Melanie Welsh has had the honor and pleasure of working in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. While this tenure provides her with a wealth of knowledge and experience, it’s listening to each individual client and understanding their priorities that’s most important in finding the best mortgage loan program to meet their needs. Purchasing a home is typically the single, largest financial investment a person will make. Melanie’s goal is to serve as a trusted advisor by offering great mortgage solutions with competitive rates and costs. She and her team are committed to making the mortgage process as simple as possible and ensuring that each client has a professional and efficient experience. Melanie always enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and being of service to her clients and referral partners. Personal interests

Melanie is a North Carolina native and a graduate of East Carolina University. A strong community advocate, she volunteers her time and talents to various trade associations and educational and charitable organizations. She’s a member of the Cape Fear REALTOR® Association, the Wilmington Cape Fear Home Builders Association, East Carolina University’s College of Business Advisory Council, and has twice served as chairperson for the American Heart Association’s Cape Fear Heart Ball (2018 and 2020). She resides in Wilmington with her husband and, together, they have four children. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, and all activities associated with the coastal lifestyle.
