This global financial services firm was challenged by its employees to respond quickly and effectively to Hurricane Katrina. In order to engage employees in its response, the firm required rapid implementation of a solution to channel employee contributions to selected relief agencies.
Challenged to distinguish the response effort from a strong, locally focused employee-giving campaign, the firm opted to implement Truist’s Click & Give solution. The product allowed the firm to present a discrete, online credit card contribution vehicle to employees, branded and configured specifically and solely for the disaster response effort.
The resulting launch of this Hurricane Katrina response effort enabled more than $1M in employee contributions within forty-eight hours of the disaster.
